New Addition- A tale of the City Building Department

Many in my shoes may say that you conceive and bring a new child into the world of ours faster than receiving a building permit in our beautiful city. In the case of the addition we have just commenced today, the permit process seemed like giving birth to twins. The reality is that Site Plan approval took three months as it included a variance that took 2 months to receive, once the Site Plan was approved our building permit was turned around and issued in 10 days.

This addition is going to be a beautification of a cape code style home. There will be new living space added on the second floor, three new dormers in the front elevation, a new shed dormer in the rear and a number of upgrades to the exterior that will add to the homes stature.
