Yes, this is somewhat of a textbook Spring Market. Many homes listed in recent weeks have had the joy of selling with in a few days. Why is this happening. Simple, more buyers entering the market than sellers.
When looking at data from the Toronto Real Estate Board, you will notice that in districts such as W12 (includes Port Credit) and W13 (includes Lorne Park) the sales to listings available for sale ratio has jumped from February to March. February was in the healthy market range of 0.25 and March saw that ratio go above 0.30. The March reading indicates a strong market.
Sellers, enjoy the Spring market while it lasts.
