Many people enjoy searching homes on the web or checking out an open house on the weekend. The real estate search is a nice escape from the regular routine, it allows us to dream.
Often dreaming is not enough to get you into that new property.

In the mid 2000's many of us either tasted corporate downsizing personally or had someone close to them go through this process. For many this was an eye opener, much like in the early 1990's, that the corporate culture of the 1980's and prior where gone. That pension isn't what it used to be. Therefore many are taking action and investing in Real Estate as landlords, lenders, builders and speculators.
4. Down Sizing
The kids moved out 20 years ago and you are still looking after a pool that only the nieghbours use.
5. Separation
